CONGRATULATIONS!

National Signing Day is a huge event all across the nation, but as usual, we do it right in the South. The Atlanta Touchdown Club in partnership with Fox's High 5 Sports hosted a signing day event at the Andretti's Indoor Karting Facility for Metro Atlanta high schools. Chattahoochee had Coach Crowder, 5 players and their families in attendance.

Chattahoochee's signing players are: left to right, Marcus Sayles - University of West Georgia, Callan Gillison - Lenoir Rhyne University, Jake Kingree - Samford University, Tosin Aguebor - Mercer University, Will Johnson - University of Tenn at Chattanooga, Head Coach Terry Crowder.

Chattahoochee players are interviewed by High Five Sports commentator, Buck Lanford.

Thank you to all those who came out on Saturday to clean up the weight room. There was a great turnout of players and parents.

It's official!!! The 2012 football season for the Region Champions Chattahoochee Cougars will kick off against the Kell Longhorns in the Corkey Kell Classic.

The opener will be played on SATURDAY Aug 25th at 9am in the GA Dome! Grab your coffee, noise-makers and your neighbors and open the season with a tailgate breakfast.

Tickets are $14 and are good for the entire day of games at the Dome. Tickets go on sale in May - check the website for additional info or contact a Gridiron Board member.

Chattahoochee handed cross-town rival Johns Creek its first loss of the season Friday in a thrilling 19-16 overtime win at Chattahoochee.

The win lifted the Cougars to 4-1 overall, while the Gladiators fell to 5-1. Both teams have the same records in Region 7-AAAAA play and are now in second place behind Lambert (5-0).

Coach Crowder has been selected by XL212 and the Greater North Fulton Chamber of Commerce as the Male Sport Coach of the Year for 2010-11

Coach Crowder was chosen not just because of the well-known accomplishments of the Cougar Team last season, but the way in which he went to great lengths to share the championship with the entire Chattahoochee School community. Rather than bask in the limelight, he made it obvious that it was important to him for our student body, staff, and community to share the full experience of what was achieved.
